This is a new "provocative" ad campaign thats been popping up in cities around the country. It displays various types of people with words saying they "deserve to die". It didn't take long for people to figure out it's an anti-tobacco campaign and it took even less time for many to throw up their arms in offended exasperation. I find it somewhat funny (ironic?) that anyone would perceive these harmless posters as being more offensive then the tobacco industry. Either way, the campaign has people talking which has to mean it is at least moderately successful. Personally I see it as a pretty clever "anti-whatever" ad because it takes an ironic look at the situation.
Plus, i really don't like hipsters so anything that mildly upsets them is ok by me.
